What drew you to coaching?

I felt I needed an edge, to get results beyond what what I was currently getting and needed support from someone who had more awareness to fast-track me there.

How did you feel before working with Lauren?

I felt dissatisfied with how I was handling things in my job, and frustrated when I didn't know how to achieve what I wanted to.

Why did you feel that way?

I didn't have the awareness on how to deal with conflict, how to negotiate, and my mind wasn't in the right place. I was doing ok, but I wanted to do GREAT.

What did you want to change?

I wanted to level up in my role, to handle more responsibility and feel more fulfilment in my job.

How did coaching help you change your career/life?

Lauren taught me how to get more control over situations, such as when facilitating a meeting and dealing with conflicts. It made navigating the corporate environment feel less like kindergarten. I felt like I could dominate.

Did you have any big wins?

I can attribute Lauren's guidance to be the one thing that took me from being a Junior Business Analyst to Lead Business Analyst, leading major mobile development projects in less than half the time I was told it should take. I would not have had the confidence and skill to handle such responsibility without her expert guidance.

How do you feel now?

I feel a sense of accomplishment with my career, and satisfaction from having had an impact within the capacity of my role.

What changes have other people noticed in you?

I had a lot of feedback from both clients and managers who were surprised at my confidence in leading such large projects, given my limited experience. I became able to navigate difficult, stressful and continuously-changing situations with finesse.

How would you describe your life without coaching?

Not having her coaching would be like building my house on sand - I'm extremely grateful for Lauren, and my life now actually feels like a dream. I am constantly taking values-based action, taking action on my goals and feeling so much more fulfilment.
